The Gordian Knot is a legend of Phrygian Gordium, of the knot that couldn’t be undone, and is often associated with Alexander the Great. Commonly used as a metaphor for an intractable problem solved unconventionally by “thinking outside the box”. In the case of Alexander the Great by supposedly cutting the knot with his sword. This legendary story has many applications in today’s healthcare world where daily crises have become the norm and unconventional is often needed.
At Gordian we are driven by our values, our relationship with God, and a thirst for untangling the knot of healthcare IT.
